William Graham Oliver – Multiple Murders

On April 28, 2026, authorities arrested 54-year-old William Graham Oliver in connection with the brutal murders of a family in Wilmer, Alabama. Oliver faces eight counts of capital murder for the deaths of 46-year-old Lisa Gail Fields, 17-year-old Keziah Luker, 12-year-old Thomas “TJ” Cordelle Jr., and Luker’s unborn child. The victims were discovered on April 20 in their home on Auble Moody Road, though investigators believe the killings occurred the night before.

The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office revealed that Oliver was a neighbor who lived only a few miles away and was well-known to the family. Sheriff Paul Burch stated that the family was specifically targeted, alleging that Oliver entered the home to commit a burglary while searching for a specific item. While most of the family was tragically killed, an 18-month-old girl was found physically unharmed inside the residence when deputies arrived.

The severity of the charges—eight counts for four victims—stems from Alabama’s legal definitions of capital murder. These counts include the murder of two or more people, murder during a burglary, the murder of children under the age of 14, and murder committed in the presence of a child. Oliver has a significant criminal history, though authorities noted this is the first time his record has escalated to include violent offenses.

Investigators utilized surveillance footage and forensic evidence, including a vehicle Oliver was seen driving, to link him to the scene. He is currently being held as the legal process moves forward.
