LA domestic multiple murder-suicide

Four people, including two adults and two children, were found shot to death inside a residence in the North Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles on Wednesday night, May 27, 2026. The Los Angeles Police Department and fire officials rushed to a home on the 16000–16200 block of Londelius Street at approximately 7:50 p.m. following emergency calls reporting multiple victims down. Upon arriving at the property, first responders discovered the four individuals already deceased from gunshot wounds.

Homicide detectives from the LAPD’s Devonshire Division quickly swarmed the neighborhood, cordoning off the residential street to process the crime scene. Law enforcement sources confirmed that authorities are not actively searching for any external suspects in connection with the gunfire, as early evidence strongly points to a domestic multiple murder-suicide. While official details regarding the specific identities, genders, and exact ages of the deceased have not yet been released, visibly distraught neighbors gathered at the cordoned area and stated they believed the victims were a local family with two young children.

As the investigation continues, members of the city’s crisis response team have deployed to the scene to support shaken community members. Neighbors reported that they did not hear gunshots or any cries for help prior to the massive arrival of emergency vehicles, leaving many in the neighborhood stunned by the sudden violence. Police officials are expected to provide further updates as the forensic examination progresses and next of kin are formally notified.
